Pilotgraph 4040 is manufactured from 99% pure graphite and contains no binders, lubricant or other additives.

Chemical Resistance

Pilotgraph 4040 exhibits a high resistance to most reagents, for example: organic and organic acids and bases, alkalis, solvents, steam, condensator, hot oils and waxes. Exceptions are concentrated nitric acid, high concentrated sulphuric acid, chronic acid, permaganate solutions and molten alkali metals.

Service

Max. Temp. 500oc air. 650oc steam. 3000oc in inert gas conditions. ( 500oc in oxidising conditions).

Pressure 300 bar pH 0-14.

Crimped tape for in- situ packing pumps and valves supplied in rolls. 15 metre widths 6mm -25mm inclusive.

Split die pressed rings for ease of fitting. Also available as uncut rings.

Crimped tape with self - adhesive backing for gasket use. 12 metre rolls width as above.
