Pilotpack 5020

Non Asbestos Packing for Arduous and Abrasive Conditions

Pilotpack 5020 is produced form high strength, high modulus organic aramid (aromatic polyamide) synthetic yarn. The packing is fully impregnated with PTFE, and a special high temperature lubricant. It is particularly suitable for use in high speed pumps and can be used for many chemicals services. Pilotpack 5020 can be used at very high pressure in gland utilising normal clearances. This packing is manufactured using the 'Crossplait' construction with all yarns interlocking and passing diagonally through the packing.

With this construction and because of the very high strength of the yarn there is virtually no chance of extrusion when operating high pressure.

In Square Section 3.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.5mm, 8.0mm in coils of 15 metres; 9.5mm, 11.0mm, 12.5mm, 14.5mm 16.0mm in Coils of 10 metres; 19.0mm and above in Coils of 5 metres. Cut rings, intermediate and larger sizes or specified lengths available to order.
