Pilotpack 5417 is a firm 'Crossplait' packing constructed from corner strands of Aramid fibre for high mechanical strength to resist extrusion at high pressure.

The seam stand is PTFE filament yarn for good lubricity and chemical resistance and a silicone lubricant for initial bedding in purposes.

Applications

Multi-purpose for pumps, mixers, valves and fine powders including sugar and other food stuffs

Excellent resistance to oils, water, acid and alkalis

Service

Max.Temp. 280Oc, Pressure 300 bar, pH 2-13, Speed 20m/s.

Supplied

In square section 8.0mm in Coils of 15 metres; 9.5mm, 11.0mm, 12.5mm, 14.5mm, 17.0mm in Coils of 10 metres;

18mm and above in Coils of 5 metres. Cut rings, intermediate and larger sizes or specified lengths available to order. Can be produced up to 75mm section.
