Pilotpack 8022

Universal

High quality, general purpose non - asbestos packing which, in many applications, may be used as an alternative to Pilotpack 1022. It is plaited from yarn produced by blending fibres of oxidised polyacrylonitrile with aramid. The packing is thoroughly impregnated and coated with PTFE, plus additional lubricant, which gives excellent resistance against chemical attack and provides low friction surface with high impermeability.

Applications

Pumps and valves, condensates, dillute acids and alkalis, oils, solvents, steam and water.

Max.Temp. 290oc, Pressure 150 bar, pH 2-12, Speed 16m/s.

n square section 3.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.5mm, 8.0mm, in Coils of 15 metres; 9.5mm, 11.0mm, 12.5mm, 14.5mm, 16.0mm, in Coils of 10 metres; 19.0mm and above in Coils of 5 metres.

Cut rings, intermediate and larger sizes or specified lengths available to order.
