Pumps and Valves

Pilotsil 8545 is a medium temperature non-asbestos valve and pump packing which utilises the 'Crossplait' construction. The pilotsil BCX yarn is fully impregnated with an aqueous PTFE dispersion which increases the resistance to chemical attack and creates a smooth low friction surface for the shaft.

Applications

• Rotary, reciprocating and static Acids, alkalis, solvents, detergents, etc.
• Not suitable for Phosphoric acid, Hydrofluoric acid and concentrated Lye Solutions.

Max.Temp. 300oc, Pressure 100 bar, pH 2-13, Speed 5m/s.

n square section 3.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.5mm, 8.0mm, in Coils of 15 metres; 9.5mm, 11.0mm, 12.5mm, 14.5mm, 16.0mm, in Coils of 10 metres; 19.0mm and above in Coils of 5 metres.

Cut rings, intermediate and larger sizes or specified lengths available to order.
