High Temperature Valves

Pilotsil Valvepack 8300 is designed specifically as a non - asbestos replacement for our popular and successful Valvepack 1300. For high pressure and temperature valves, it can also be used in expansion joints sealing hot air and other gases. An inconel reinforced BCX yarn cover is braided around a resilient non - asbestos plastic core, producing a packing which easily conforms to the gland space available. The surface of the packing is treated with molybdenum disulphide in an elastomeric binder. This reduces friction and enables the packing to be used in contact with stainless steel.
